At the beginning of the month I ordered 4 new dresses that I wanted to share with you. Take a look and don't forget to read more for corresponding video for more details on each dress.
Check them out my detailed reviews and let me know what you think.
Mark. Island Elegance Maxi Dress
Short in the front, long at the back. Soo cute!
The designers even added a little extra frilly-ness to the hem so it's more than just a dress with an asymmetrical hemline- I wanna salsa when I wear it. I can't wait for summer!
Don't be afraid of the pattern like I was originally either. Its a lot easier on the eyes in person. You do want to note that the top is like 2 pieces that cross in the front so the keyhole at the neck goes a lot farther down than you would expect.
Avon Colorblock Knit Dress
This dress really surprised me. I didn't expect it to look this good. From the model in the brochure I was expecting a more rectangular shape but I guess I messed that up.
The material has spandex for a little stretch so it hugs your shape. and the slit in the hem is not so high that it's revealing, but enough to take this dress far away from looking like a tunik.
I recommend pair with body Illusions for smoothing
Mark. Cross My Mind Dress
This dress has a high hem that hits above the knee and a wrap collar that tucks at the zipper under the left arm. I never really thought about wearing a leather skirt to the office but only half the skirt is leathery and the other half is fabric. The tiny skirt easily makes this dress great for cocktail hour, and made me slightly skeptical about buying it, but you cant have too many LBDs.
I would also pair Body Illusions with this dress, even more so than with the Colorblock Knit Dress. Here I paired it with a Smoothing Cami but I felt like it flattened out the bust too much so it wasn't as flattering with this asymmetrical collar. The High Waist Brief might do the trick.
Mark. Grand Entrance Lace Dress
Out of all the others this dress has to be my favorite! The lacy top is so elegant and not see-through, so still classy and appropriate for anything from the office to cocktail hour to holiday party.
The zipper at the back also stops just slightly below the shoulder blades which is great news because it means we can get dressed without seeking help from anyone else or any crazy contraptions!
Ok, maybe I'm the only one excited about that...
