You may not have looked at it this way but the Jumpstart Bonuses that Avon has in place can do these things for you. Take a look at it. For helping other people start their own Avon business, Avon gives you a $25 bonus and the people you recruit personally become a part of your 1st generation (in a family they would be your children). For those of you who are familiar with real estate think of it as a referral fee. Only instead of .05%, $25 is 50% of the minimum order size of a new recruit.
By helping just 3 other people to find success in businesses of their own Avon promotes you to Unit Leader and adds in an additional $100 bonus check plus 3% of your team sales every campaign.
This is what we call residual income. You’re no longer trading time for money, or hour for dollar. If you invest in your team at the beginning to train them to succeed in their businesses, Avon will continue to share the profits generated from your team with you for as long as you qualify.
Speaking of training your team to succeed. Let’s say you help 1 person from your team to understand the benefits of residual income. They now go out and share the business with others, possibly people you’ve never met and never would have met otherwise, and they become a Unit Leader also. (Congratulations, you now have grand children!) Continue to help others and grow your 1st generation by adding 8 more people. You can now qualify to be a Unit Leader Plus. This time you’ll get $150, plus 20 leads, you’ll increase the percent of what you earn from all your 1 generation sales to 4% and also earn 2% of the sales of the people your new leader brought onto your team.
What are leads? Leads are people who have contacted Avon requesting information about joining. So, you get the contact info of 20 more people who have already expressed interest in joining Avon. The “prospecting” work has already been done for you. Every person out of those 20 people still earns you the $25 recruiting bonus and you will also have more people selling on your team.
More people selling = Higher team sales = more money in your pocket every 2 weeks.
Let’s keep going.
Keep adding at least 4 people to your 1st generation (It’ll be a lot easier to do this now that you have those 20 leads) and help 1 other person up to Unit Leader. How about another promotion? Okay. You’re now eligible to become an Advanced Unit Leader and receive another $750 Bonus, you now earn 6% of your 1st generation sales, and get 5 nested representatives.
Now wait, that’s new. What are nested representatives?
When you became a Unit Leader Plus you got leads. Those people expressed interest in joining but you had to contact and appoint them to seal the deal. A nested representative is different. They’re already signed up, already selling, and maybe even selling for longer than you have been. They’re already established and now they’re a part of your 1st generation and contributing to your earnings.
Once again: More people selling = Higher team sales = more money in your pocket every 2 weeks.
NOW are you starting to see the power in achieving the advancing bonuses?
Good, because I’m not done. Remember those 2 new Unit Leaders in your team? If they really understand the power of residual income, believe in achieving the advancing bonuses, and duplicate what you did to help them with their teams. They should be on their way up to Unit Leader Plus. Do you remember what you got when you were promoted to Unit Leader Plus?
That’s right 20 leads that allowed you to add more people to your 1st generation. Well, your 2 new Unit leaders now each have 20 leads of their own. Avon has given you the potential for about 40 new people in your team. That’s a lot of grand children and a lot more people contributing to your overall team sales and how much you earn.
Do you see whats happening here? We call it Exponential Growth. You’re not trying to add hundreds of people to your team by yourself. When your team starts building a team of their own the size of your team should start to double up itself and grow faster and faster. Break it down and look again.
You got 20 leads (20x1=20) and trained 2 people to move title
Those 2 can get 20 leads each for a total of 40 (20x2=40) and can each train 2 new leaders for a total of 4 (2x2=4)
Those 4 can get 20 leads each for a total of 80 (20x4=80) and can each train 2 new leaders for a total of 8 (4x2=8)
Those 8 can get 20 leads each for a total of 160 (20x8=160) and can each train 2 new leaders for a total of 16 (8X2=16)
There’s no time requirements on this. You don’t have to wait for the people with seniority to move up 1st so it doesn’t look like you’re being promoted over them. You don’t have to spend time impressing the boss and kissing butt so you can get noticed- um you are the boss! You don’t have a minimum amount of time to spend in training, or interning before you can advance.
NO! Nothing is holding you back but you! If you have the drive and determination and you achieve Unit Leader status in 7 days, guess what. You’ve just earned the promotion, and the bonuses.
One last time!: More people selling = Higher team sales = more money in your pocket every 2 weeks.
LOOK AT HOW STRONG THIS 1 LEVEL OF THE ADVANCING BONUS CAN MAKE YOUR BUSINESS.
If you’re not taking advantage of these bonuses, you’re throwing money away, and making things harder. Why do that to yourself? Why not work smarter, not harder and take advantage of the tools Avon has given you to succeed?
Think of it as going up a hill. If you start early there are Avon help stations along the way, you’ll reach the top sooner, have help, and you can start enjoying the easy way down the other side sooner. But,if you wait too long, the help stations pack up and go home, and you might have to fight harder to get to the other side. It’s never too late to start but why not start early and take advantage of the additional support.
